25,486 words done this month; 163,534 words done total. And 87% done with the book. 😀  I love how I have absolutely no control over the story now. It's fully the characters' tale to tell. I'm just typing it out for them.

1755 words so far! ….on day 3. Arg. Well, I have a paper due tomorrow that I've not even started, so…tough shit. Need grades! UKL was AWESOME. I unfortunately was unable to take pictures or actually meet her, but hearing her talk was amazing. =) Happy Katje is happy. Going to do my paper. And novel.

My mom got two free tickets to go see Ursula K. Le Guin present at the Vancouver Writers’ Festival. She’s taking me. It’s on Saturday. On Saturday, I get to see one of the premiere female fantasy writers present. I get to see Ursula K. Le Guin — one of my favorite authors — in person.
