Working hard or hardly working? HA HA HA HA HA no seriously, I have a problem.
So while I’m recliner-bound for 2 months I’m planning on getting a lot of writing done.
Apparently I have weird-shaped legs. Also I suck at picking out birthday gifts for myself.
I’m not sure when exactly this happened; I was too preoccupied with moving since late January to continue with my obsessive refreshing of the Tiptree website.

The big thing for me in January was my graduation from university.
I am always in a rush in a hurry / to fill up my notebooks with blather –
I want to focus on the good, and work towards making 2014 much better. With that in mind, here is my list of pretty cool/awesome things that happened this year.
Yesterday I finished proofing the print copy of Stranger Skies, made edits to the file, and sent the files off to the printer’s. I’m glad I actually sat myself down and proofed the thing. No one is every any good at anything until they practice, yet I’m the worst sort of drill sergeant in my own head, screaming at me, calling me a maggot, because I wasn’t perfect the first time — or because I THOUGHT about quitting.
Gods know how I ever got to a point where I not only finished but published two novels. I think I have, entirely, my outside support system to thank for that.
